Cobblebank students volunteer in our local community

While some of our Year 7 Cobblebank students head across Melbourne weekly to represent the College in the SACCSS Premier League sporting competition, others have eagerly volunteered their time to help others in the Melton community.

Six students attend the Melton Food Bank where they help in a range of different ways.

Some of the tasks include dividing large amounts of food into smaller quantities by repacking them, helping customers pick food from the shelves and working with other volunteers.

At the same time, ten students have helped run various lunchtime activities at St Catherine of Siena Primary School. They have been welcomed each week and are thoroughly enjoying their visits to our neighbouring primary school.
