During the recent school holidays, Year 12 student Alice represented St Francis Catholic College at the Victorian Interschools Championships at Boneo Park, Boneo.
Competing with more than 600 horses and riders over five days, Alice rode Bel Attrait, a 13-year-old off-the-track thoroughbred, in the disciplines of Combined Training and Show Horse. It was two days of very early starts to arrive at Boneo near Rye.
The pair competed in Combined Training, which has two components, dressage and show jumping. They placed midfield after dressage and a clear round of show jumping.
They were back on the road a few days later to compete in Show Horse, which included being judged in a Rider, Ridden and Led class.
We wish Alice well in future competitions and thank her for representing the College over many years.
