Senior's Sporting Success

Our senior boys' hockey and basketball teams notched up great wins this week in their respective SACCSS competitions.

Hockey

The hockey team played three games before qualifying as the top team in the grand final. Although they were defeated 2-0 their team spirit and determination were outstanding. We congratulate them on their fantastic effort.

Basketball

Today, the boys basketball team defeated Caroline Chisholm Catholic College 57-53 in what was a very high standard game with all players sticking to a ferocious defensive plan.

With last week’s win in a thriller 17-16 against Antonine College our boys have started the season well.

There is much hard work ahead and spots up for grabs! Shehani Smith will now take the boys on the road for their three remaining games.
