It aims to facilitate a smooth progression through secondary education and from secondary school to further education or employment.
Its mission is to give students access to information and opportunities to help them grow as individuals so that they feel confident in making decisions that lead them to appropriate post-secondary education, training, and employment pathways.

The College careers website contains information students and parents can access regarding post-school options, workplace learning, jobs, careers and resources to support pathway planning.
It includes the pathways calendar of events, careers newsletter and links to many career planning websites. Students can also easily make appointments with careers staff via the website.
Students can use the Career Tools program to begin their pathway planning. Over time, they can develop an e-portfolio where all certifications and career-related information is stored.
Students complete a career action plan, resume and cover letter, and build their interview skills and knowledge of workplace health and safety.
