Tote-ally amazing totes

A wonderful collection of tote bags, bunting decorations, scrunchies and pillows have been created by Year 8 Textiles students, many of whom had never touched a sewing machine before this year!

After learning how to operate the machines safely, students eagerly got sewing adding their own personal flair to their tote bags by tie-dying the material and attaching their names using iron on vinyl, giving the bags a very professional final look.

Our next task calls on students to tap into their design skills and create of a plush monster toy. We can't wait to see what they come up with!
