Pirate Fun For a Good Cause

Dress Like a Pirate Day for Childhood Brain Cancer Research was a rousing success at the College last Friday.

Captain Jorgensen defeated First Mate Danielle and made her walk the plank. All the junior pirates made air canons in the library with Captain Brown.

In total, the crew raised approximately $250 for the cause.

Since 2015, Pirate Day has raised more than $630,000 thanks to schools, community groups and businesses across the country. This helps The Kids’ Cancer Project provide funding for scientific researchers, who are busy making waves in the lab to turn the tide on childhood brain cancer.
