Runnalls Cup

Last Friday, Melton’s Senior Girls AFL team headed to Sydenham to play in the annual Runnalls Cup match.

The match is a memorial game to remember the life of Bruce Runnalls, a past Deputy Principal of CRC Melton and past Principal of CRC Sydenham who sadly passed away in 2011.

Bruce loved his footy so we are proud to be able to hold this annual event to honour his life.

Although CRC Sydenham took home the win, we are very proud of our girls’ efforts and the sportsmanship shown on the day from both teams. Best on ground for the day goes to our two goal-kickers, Ebony and Mikaela who fought hard the entire match. Well done girls.
