Road to Safety – Melton Campus Senior Student Excursion

Our Melton Campus Unit 3 Health and Human Development (HHD) students visited Melbourne Museum last week to participate in the Road to Zero Immersion Program.

Here is what students Leona and Belle had to say about the experience.

The Road to Safety program was an insightful and engaging initiative from TAC to enhance our knowledge of the topic.

The day included interactive activities that further developed our understanding of the Ottawa Charter for Health Promotion and sustainable development goals on road safety.

The program's main objective, to reduce fatal accidents on Victorian roads, was highlighted throughout the activities, which included VR experiences and quizzes.

The additional group session with an HHD examiner was extremely helpful for our upcoming SACs and future exams.

It was a privilege to attend such a great program that expanded our knowledge of road safety. The experience took our understanding of the issue to another level and will help us with our studies.
