Ancient History Excursion

In the last week of Term 3, Ancient History students visited the Hellenic Museum in Melbourne to further their knowledge of the world of ancient Greece and Rome.

During their tour, they saw age-old artefacts and deepened their understanding of the Greek city-states, the structure of society, their military equipment and their impact, which is still felt today.

By the end of the tour the students split into two groups to debate whether ancient Greece or Rome was better.

Students used the experience to refine their knowledge and prepare for their final exam.
