Year 12 VCE VM Melton Campus Students visit Bacchus Marsh Police

Late last term, Year 12 VCE-VM students visited the police station in Baccus Marsh.

We learned about the different driver's licences the police have, the cars they use and how they read shift times and adjust to the demands in their workplace.

We saw their buildings, learned how to find and take fingerprints, and heard about the different careers and pathways into the police force and the academy.

Students asked a range of questions and engaged with the police officers. We enjoyed our time at the station and after the excursion, some students said they would consider joining the police force.

The day was a great success.
