Year 9 Melbourne Experience – Melton Campus

On the last two days of Term 3, our Year 9 students embarked on their Melbourne Experience as part of the Rite Journey program.

Over two days, they explored what makes Melbourne unique, navigating its iconic landmarks, diverse cultures and bustling streets.

Students caught the train to the city and back on their own or with friends over the two days.

They participated in the MCG tour, visited Eureka Skydeck, Queen Victoria Market, and Melbourne Zoo, and enjoyed ice skating at O’Brien Icehouse in Docklands.

From mastering public transport to engaging with local businesses and experiencing cultural activities, students developed important life skills. This hands-on experience fosters critical and creative thinking, preparing our students to thrive in their future endeavours.

I thank the staff who accompanied our students and made the Melbourne Experience possible. It was a truly wonderful experience for all.
